I think the tutorials there are more about how to get sprung than how to get articulated. 
Might wanna double check your url's before posting

check this little guy out.
I added the 4th gear, i am using the 6tooth pinion gear, i cut the tires of better climbing, fliped the rims for beter stance, and cut the chassis for the articulation, next is the better body mount and lights.
and a little video of it in action
