the Diffs are very hard to lock in the evo truck as they are almost permintly held together with a pin. you might be able to get it apart but you risk breaking or weakining it. your best bet would be candel wax melted into it, you might be able to heat it up and get it out later, or maybe buy a couple extras at atomic mods and lock them with hotglue or something like that. also for rock crawling you want to get the stage 2 motor kit and use the lowest (8-25) gearing and probibly the stage one motor (more torque than stage 2) a mild body lift if you can manage that would help, I did mine using the stock plastic bushings that I had replaced with bearings. now with the stock tires on my rear can fully articulate without rubbing on the wheel wells.
