Hummer H2 Problems

Hello all, I just bought an Xmod EVO Hummer H2, the truck AWD kit, and the offroad kit, and for some reason, when I set the chassis, with or without body, on the floor, it won't move. It doesn't happen evertime. But when it does, it makes the electronic buzzing sound and the wheels very very very slowly start to move, eventually moving the truck, but slowly. Then, sometimes, the truck will just shoot off the line and go perfect. Is there something wrong?

*edit* May have an idea. On the trucks, on the small driveshafts in the cups and wheels, does the round end of the shaft go into the front wheel, or the cup?

I think the flatest side goes towards the differential. I am not sure though so you better check your instructions. You may want to test a different crystal frequincy. I just replaced the one in my h2 yesterday after 15 minutes of trouble shooting that fixed it.

The instructions don't say I'm pretty sure. But I have the round end in the wheel and the square end in the differential.

turn it off and push it on a rough surface such as a carpet. does it move easily? do any of the wheels drag? any noises? and stutter (beyound the pinion gears engaging the motor which is a very even and light step like resistance)?

if so, you have yourself a friction problem.

if not, try changing your batteries... if that fails, you probably have a dead board or something.

I think the problem is the crappily designed suspension in the offroad kit. Because the bump steer puts the wheels at a huge v. Also, the lack of bearings makes the wheel hubs wobble ALOT! So I figure bearings will probably make this thing run like a dream.

I hope you are right about the bearings. As it is now my Hummers wheels wobble very badly. And as you say the front wheels splay out when they hit bumps or when you stop. Try going fast then slam on the brakes. Crazy.
Firebird wheels are still loose but better than the Hummer.
My Hummer also has cracks around where the top motor screw attaches.

It doesn't really matter anymore I guess. I'm gonna put some sealed bearings in from a place where my dad buys bearing for his trucks. And then I'm gonna take an old Stage 2 motor, put neodymium magnets in it, put an EVO pinion on it, and possibly rewind it. I'm also thinking Lithiums...
