ZZMTT - ( zip zap monster truck trials )

Hi there ,
After looking at some TTTT ( table top truck trials ) sites and seeing how amazing they where and how much fun they looked . I decided to think about making one . that was untill i saw the price being around $300
.So i thaught , ZZMT'S would be great for this , but they wouldnt let them compete due to rules of them being 1:64 and the tttt's having to be 1:87 and proportional trucks. so i thaught
why not start our own ZZMTT?(Zip-Zap-Monster-Truck-Trials)
if enough people are interested i think this would be a great move for all zzmt fans and enthusiasts . I would be willing to set up a website for this and try to advertise to get more people into this . I have began making a track allready for my zzmt and it hasnt even been shipped out yet . Im very enthusiastic about this and i hope that others will be too . It would be great to have a community of people posting pictures/mods/vids/techniques ect .

If you would be interested in this please post here ,.

Many thanks ,
joe

EDIT : The website is now up and running go check it out !!

That's a pretty good idea, and I've kinda been itching to make a diorama to play in anyway...

If we were to do this like the TTTT guys, and have a meet where the dioramas could be linked together so we could run the truck across several without stopping, have you come up with specs for board sizing, and cross over height and widths for the "gates" to drive between boards?

I very much doubted us getting together to play either, however I'm sure there are people who live closer that might be into these enough to try doing ZZ-M TTTT, and having that spec could help them out. I used "we" as in ZZ-M drivers running TableTopZZTrials, not us personally

Plus I think spending about $30 for setting up a base truck would be a more popular option than spending about $300 to handbuild a TTTT, just so you can find out if you really like it or not. An entry level if you will.

Then if you could get Radio Hack to actually have a few stores actually take the idea and run with it... I doubt they'd ever do it, but having like a monthly event(?) where ZZ-M drivers could show up at a high visibility location (mall?) and run Trials... bring in more buisiness, raise interest in these.

Nice ideas there , looks like you have given it some thaught.

But i was just trying this as an online thing as we dont have raidshack here , so everyone would have to order from america wich would cost alot.

But if someone that was interested lived in america they are willing to take my idea and start it up , would be pretty cool.
