fried FETs?

aloha. im new here, so i'll take a minute to describe what i have. i own a mini-x, a mini-z monster and a mini-t.

all my minis are down (fried the reverse FETs on the mini-x, broken front bulkhead on the mini-t) but im most concerned abt the monster -- i was climbing a 60 degree incline when the throttle suddenly stopped working. when i turn the switch off, the wheels immediately go into reverse, but when i turn it on, nothing happens. no reverse, no forward. the motor is a kyosho xspeed. i think i can detect a faint smell of electronic burns, however steering works so im pretty sure the board isn't totally fried.

Is this a fixable problem or do I have to get a new board? thanks you all.

if you can solder swapping the FETs will cost you far less that a new board.

You can buy 10 FETs for under USD20 or install a External FET replacement.

Both options are availabvle through any number of online stores or eBay.

A.
