lost of distance after stage 2 motor on

today i bought the stage 2 motor. when i got home i decided to put it on. i am using the top speed(blue) motor. i followed the instructions and everything and when i was done. i put back in the batteries. went outside turned it on and started playing with it. it didnt go as far as it did before. probably like 2 feets less. i was wondering what happened to the reception. why doesnt it go far anymore?

Are you using rechargable batteries? If so,they may be old. try and see what happens when you put the stock moter back.Also, moter noise can also be a problem, since you are using a hotter moter. Try twisting the moter wires a little to cancel out the noise. If this doesn't work, i can't help you.
