How rare are the skyline sets

Sorry if this is a repost, i did a bit of a search and couldnt find much

I just bought one of these sets with the 3 gens of GTR's in them, it was advertised as a RARE set, but im sure everything on ebay is rare...

This is actually my first bitcharg set as well, im mainly into the 1:10th etc RC cars

Are they actually rare or pretty mainstream ?

Definitely rare only in the US, especially for the 2000GT-R. However, they are everywhere in Europe and Japan. Did you see the limited edition 2000GT-R? It's only sold in Europe, I believe.

Yep i saw that one looks awesome

Havent seen many and i am in Australia, so probably even rarer over here

Only paid $30AU for it, so i dont think its a to bad a price then if they are somewhat rare hehe

i know nothing about these cars so it should be interesting to start with them.... quite a bit smaller then my other 11 RC cars hehe

I wouldn't say "Rare", they are a "Special Edition" set.

but just to tell you ,if your going to buy this, you might also need to get a replacement axle. mine was messed up ,but im not sure if it was all of them or just mine.

I really doubt if ALL of them were defected

Was yours sealed when you bought it?
