has anyone compared a new and improved SE to a fetted SE? since getting one fetted costs the same as a new one, i need to know if there is any difference. i already have 4 good SE's and i don't really want to buy a new one if they're pretty much the same.
The newest SE (60-7050, Ford GT et.al.) uses a 50% duty cycle on the motor instead of 30% on earlier versions. I'm not sure when they changed it though, I've only tested the 60-7033, 60-7034 and 60-7050. I don't know if the other models are improved (like the Starsky&Hutch line).
I don't know if a 30% duty cycle car with FETs would be better than a stock 50% duty cycle car. My guess would be yes, but I've never done a direct comparison.
