auto modellista 2 speed motor work with 3.8?

I have the Bit-Char-G auto modellista set that came with a 2 speed 2.2 motor/controller. Will this work with the 3.8 motor as well? I wonder if it makes the 3.8 like a 3.2 (in low speed)or if it makes it faster than the 3.8?

The Booster kit regulates the power going to the Motor, it doesn't care what Motor.

Therefore, you can put any motor you want into the car and the Booster kit will work with it.

Good question...but I have the answer.....My firend threw his 3.8 into his booster car....and the thing ran like a 2.2- or 2.6 without boost......it was great..too bad he sucked at driving so i beat him everytime...but I swa majior potential....I will defintly recommend a 3.8 if you have a booster car...cuz 3.8 at full throt all the time is just way to much

if you check the instruction for booster machines, it says not to use 1.0 motors

Thanks for the info.....you must be right though(about the 1.0). When i first ran the car I thought it was a bum motor. It was like it was already running at 1.0. I thought...oh great, my zipzap could beat this....then i saw the button on the top of the controller.
