Ford GT and Dodge Viper SE controller

People have reported that the new SE's are faster and have longer run times. I was just wondering:

-If you charge your old SE with the new controller, do you also get the longer run times?

-A peak charged car will run faster than a partially charged car. If the new controller does give the old SE's longer run times, what is the speed comparison against the new SE's?

On a side note: As a mechanical engineer, I must say that Radioshack either has the worst quality control engineers in the country or they are knowingly employing this technique to try and force sales. Either way they're pathetic.

Wait, you're saying that RadioHack *has* quality control engineers? I thought they were just on the honor system with making and fixing mistakes.

If the New SE's have the same battery, then charging with the new controller would definately let they run longer. Faster probably wouldn't really happen, that's mostly a resistance thing.

I have used my Ford GT transmitter to charge my Torino and performance and run time did not improve. I have also charged my Ford GT on my Torino transmitter and it is as fast as it always is. This leads me to believe that the improvements are made in the car and not the transmitter. Maybe someone else can confirm my findings if they have both cars.

I have the same cars and the GT controller did not improve the charge or speed of the Torino. The chassis is definitely where the improvements are.
