Raising your xmod in seconds(maybe minutes)
it's actually quite simple. buy some washers and put them inbetween the screws on the front clip and inbetween the single screw on the rear body mount. if you put too many washers you will have to get longer screws.
to raise your xmod even further you can double or triple layer your tires. if you triple layer your tires you might have to shave a little bit of the body so your tires don't rub the body.

Or, you could use the way of my current project which is a double wishbone suspension. I will use lego tires, and should have about an inch of ground clearence.

I'd like to see a RALLY car. No big tyres, normal xmod wheels. Raised chassis at least half inch. Then maybe that will spark me back into xmods. I recently put longer suspension on my 10th scale HPI And I LOVED it. I sold that car and i miss it dearly. Someone please get these cars off the floor with normal wheels.
Here is my Impreza. It needs to be raised.
please save tis beautiful car

I can just as easily use stock tires with this setup, just my truck body looks so much better with the bigger tires. I use stock tires with my skyline body. Depending on which setup I use, I can Have a rally car, a crawler, or I could have a high speed dirt racer . I'm getting a TL-01 soon for $50, and am going to make a decent rally car out of it.

So can you keep me up to date on your project? And post some pics.
I woild love a little rally car. I'll have to 6-cell it tho for more speed and see if i can find a way to get more grip out of the tires.

mustang wheels
This wheel + tire set has alot more meat than their sports car counterparts. This might be the best choice for a rally xmod. once the chassis is raised.
