Sounds cool. 100 laps seems pretty long. I would probably watch one if the quality is good.

2nd Weekend of September

I am going to try and organize a race capable of giving a quality race, for the seecond week of september,a friend of mine is in film production and will edit and make a movie he said after seeing our previous races, but time is an issue for everyone and it is the reason why nothing has been posted in the way of pics thus far just all seems to happen at once and no one is really avail to do the a.v end of the race during the race, as well we would rather be racing.quality i expect to be so, so we have a few good cameras and a few so-so cameras right now, so we will try and comprimise placing them strategically for viewer satisfaction of course we use webcamxp to broadcast with 5 different cameras to use works for right now, well see how it goes. anywayz, no one, i have seen has really done this yet i dont think so, i would appreciate all the support i can get for the race, hence the second week of sept. gets the buzz going, gives us time to work on the race product and maybe encourages others also i think these race will show the true capabilities of the cars.

i will be posting th ip address closer to the race week or even days before, dont know where the race will be right now, here or
next door,

as far as 100 laps takes about 1/2 hr - 45 mins depending, and really flies by as we have had longer races then 100, once your cars are tuned and running right pit stops are crucial, and is probably the most intense insane tension in the race, try and sit will your car is on the charger, or screw laps up while someone else is on the charger the list goes on....

wanna join in no problem
rules are has to be an SE and you have to be able to run a body(lights are optional, but why? i dunno only cuz if you want to turn your lights on ill see you when i am passing you every lap as your in the pits)
everything else is your own r&d

Sounds like a blast to me. I'll be looking forward to seeing your stuff. Wish I could get in on it myself.

sounds great as long as the cams reload fast and the races are good. I would rather like a series of short races.

Length

...for issues concerning length. For viewer satisfaction fewer laps might be better and will consider it. i must state i dont think this will beanything like a televised race merely 5 or six cams pointed at a track. it is neat however. See right now thow with dual cells our cars are doing about 40 - 50 laps a charge so 100+ allows pitting and changes to be made during the race and the capability of making up time.

okay. I just don't have the time to watch the whole race.

duh... (Why didn't I think of this earlier) You can record it and upload it as many different files named after what happens in that movie (Like pits.wmv would mean some people pit, etc.)
