Good Antenna Mod

What I didwas I simply Gotta a paper clip. not a small one but the bigger size it is like 1.8 inches then i bent it into a G shape (below next to car I bent thetop of the G Back and forth until it broke off.
Next I put the paper clip in the little hole where the antenna comes out I Had to wiggle it. Next I rapped the antenna around it and it works really well and keeps your antenna up.

Kudos on an original idea, but I'd be concerned with wieght. And the thing isn't the most attractice. Just my opinion, but I'd go with the cat5 mod if you want it to stand straight up. Or, better yet if you are brave, is to solder some guitar string on there.

or you can just add a coffee straw. all you have to do is stick the antenna into the straw and stick the staw into the antenna hole so it can stand up.but if your straw dont fit into the hole use a dremel and a really really small drill bit and make the antenna hole a little bit bigger. and your done. the purpose of this mod is for the range of your zzse. wut this does is that it gets better receptions b/c the antenna its up so it has the reception to make it go farther. (WARNING USE GLASSES OR SOMETHING TO PROTECT YOUR EYES. i had a accident like 2 days ago. my knife broke and flew and almost hit my eye. it was 1mm above my eye. after that moment i was like and thx. SO REMEMBER USE PROTECTION EVEN IF YOUR A PROFESSIONAL!!)
