looks like it needs a couple more coats of clear lots of orange peal in the paint. I would have used a darker primer. it looks alright though.

i got the body kit. and i didn't use primer cuz its a candy color.

the original color is copper, which makes a great basecoat for candy colors. the purpose of a candy color is to let the base shine through

a 350z...the first time I see one too, nice paintjob!! btw has anyone done a low down on it? like every bodykit to stock, to etc etc

im aware of how candies work. Im saying i would have primered over the stock paint and done a couple coats of red then the candy to make it a true candy apple red.
