chassis extention

I have an Oldnslowmobile 442 body that i would like to put on my XMOD the only problem is i have to extend the chassis about 25mm to fit the wheelbase of the new body. I know somebody here was talking about making some so who ever you were i need a step by step to extending a chassis.

i am not the person you are looking for but i am working on a very simple extension. its basically 3 bars between the main chassis and the black gearbox thingy( the black thing that holds the differential, rear suspension components etc.) one bar for each side and one bar that goes between the other two bars so that it will have as little movement as possilble.but the thing i have not gotten to work yet is ground clearence.if i find a thin enough material it is to weak and sags if it is strong enough it will be to thick and drag. i will attach a crude picture:

Chassis extension Correction

I have done two chassis extensions adding 50mm by carefully cutting two chassis bodies to the correct individual lengths and superglueing them together with small pvc foam braces on the inside overlapping the join. I wanted to put 1/32 Kenworth Semi Tractor bodies on the xmod so I lengthened the chassis and then added a second shortened , non-powered axle at the back for the dual axle look. The chassis is holding together well but you have to be careful in the cutting and joining/glueing. I have attached a scan of how I would do it to add approx 25mm length.
