New ZZ's come with Springs???
My local Radio Shack finally got a new supply of ZZ's in stock so I went and grabbed a 350z. To my surprise it came with springs on the front suspension instead of the bar. I checked all the others and they were the same way. Cool!
This is Canada of course. The US probably had springs a long time ago.
Wish they would get the ZipZap SE's up here soon.

My jeep came with springs, but the camaro had the bar. Since I only have one chassis that isn't broken, it has both. (and two steering springs)

the plastic bar totally defeats the purpose of springs.

I noticed that too. I was in radioshack about a month ago getting Xmod bearings for a mousetrap car and I saw one of the ZZ chassis they always put on display by the checkout counter. It had springs, and I thought it might have been a employee's car that had been modified, but when I asked about it they said most of the newer ZZs were coming with them.
I guess they keep improving them. Hopefully the next thing RS will do it make some [much] lower bodies.

I noiced the same thing. I bought a Camaro the other day, and it hd the bar. Today I bought the F150 and it had springs.
To be honest, though, they are so weak they do absolutely no good at all, maybe if they were doubled up or something...
