esc picture
Hey guys. Im sorry to report that my mini x esc is broken. It seems while working on the car one of the red wires coming off the switch broke off its connection and i have no idea where it goes. Could someone please help me by posting a pic of the bottem to the esc board? I doubt i will be able to fix it though because i have no soldering skills at such a small level. Do any of yall know where i could get it fixed? thanks
EDIT:wow i feel really stupid its the ESC not the receiver. I guess thats what i get for trying to rush threw things

well i looked at the esc with a magnifying glass and found where the wire goes and attempted to solder it back on. It was quite possibly the worst solder ive ever done. Well at least it held and after about 5 min. of cleaning it up with an exacto knife it looked ok. I then covered the bottem with hot glue and then put the bottem of the esc back on. Put it in the car and it works when there is no load (when its not on the ground) but it glitches alot and it will just stop working and i have to turn it off then back on. Could it be the big wheels causing the motor to overload or is my esc screwed?

thanks for the offer but im also not very heavy into my mini x anymore. i have bigger projects like my stampede and my TLT-1 that get most of my attention. about the only time i work on my mini x is when i am waiting on parts for the other trucks. i would love the esc but i just dont have money devoted to this project right now. maybe if you are interested in trading for something else i would get it.

Oh, you kids!
Always the same this time of year, all the small scale stuff gets shelved in favour of the bigger outdoor stuff. Don't be so quick to get rid of the small stuff, when the winter comes you'll be happy to have something to run when it's too bad to go outside!

I see so it's more an issue of "too many RC's, not enough time..."

I know the problem!

i have major thrill issues. like hooking 18 volts into an old nikko car just to watch it haul and then smoke. WARNING:second hand smoke can cause lung cancer. WARNING: attempting any of the above mentioned things to your car will void any warrenty on the car and possible ruin the car.
