Arrow Super Street Mag Mistakes

Has anyone else noticed mistakes in the super street magazine that comes with your car? I am not talking about spelling mistakes I am talking about something thats just wrong information. Here are two I found.

Pg. 30 in the what is oversteer understeer article. Here is a sentence taken right out of the book. "You'll also be equiped with tie rods(basicly steering racks), which will allow you to set the toe in(camber) of your suspension and will give different degrees of cornering under racing conditions." That sentence was taken directly out of the book. To me that sound like they are saying toe in and camber are the same.

The sentence after that says "When you add more camber(higher degree tie rod), you can turn more agresively into a corner." Now correct me if I am wrong but I don't even think these have adjustable camber. Also, the higher degree tie rod makes more toe in.

I don't understand how the people at superstreet magazine could make such big mistakes. The only way to explain it is that someone from radioshack wrote it. I just wanted to show this and find if they had other mistakes because I know some kids who know nothing about cars and tuning are gonna read this book when they get their xmods and think they know everything about cars, when, they only know what this mag told them. That means if this mag has a lot of wrong information their is going to be a lot of misinformed people about this.

RadioShack gave SuperStreet like $30,000 to put their logo on the cover of an RS-published 'magazine.' I don't think SuperStreet had anything to do with it, other than scoring a few bucks frmo promotional royalties.

There was already a big thread on this a while back. The number of mistakes found was pretty astounding.

Found it...

I'm not surprised. Silly ricers, leave the mechanics to the mechanics!
