steering spring
Does anybody know of a good replacement or fix for the steering spring?
I messed around with it and got it to recenter, but not consistently.I don't know if my spring is weak or if the extra weight of the dual cell mod adds resistance on the spring?

I just added a second steering spring form a junked Zip, and it can now travel a straight line like it did stock.

You can buy replacement STEERING springs (not to be confused with SUSPENSION springs) at RCmod's store. Use 3 or 4 of them, and your center steering will be soooo much better!!!!! Since you have more strength in the return center steering, your car will stay straight (heh....pervs ) unless you actually MOVE the button on the controller.

To help it to steer after adding so many springs buy Rare earth magnets at RS.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention....so many more springs, means so much more resistance when turning.

If you go here
you will find a neodymium disk magnet with the right measurements (5mmdiameterby2.5mmthick) The shipping will kill you for a 30cent item though($9.70s&p) I dont think the rare earth magnet at RS will do the job.
