laymans tri-cell, where to get it?
Where do you get it? I want somethnig that is lighter and smaller. Does 3 of them make the same size of the oringal ZZ cell? Do they upt out 3.6 volts/ the 3 of them/ i have a dual cell but want a tri-cell becauee i want to lower bodies but can't becasue i had toput the PCB upside down. Help please!

One option you have is to tri-cell with 3 1/4AAA batteries. The largest mAh rating I've found is 70 which is really lousy but the batteries are smaller than what comes with the ZipZap.
I saw at http://www.bitmod.tk/, they have 3.6volt lithium polymer mod although the site is in German.
The following is the German translated to english:
Bitchar g with 3.6 V lithium polymer Akkupack of Microsash.
The Akku was mechanically deformed after arrangements with the
manufacturer. Fundamental the reproduction is recommended only to the
experienced Bitmodder.
For lithium polymer Akkuzellen is necessary a special load technology.

I can't believe it! I have one. Model # is BH0724OO-89 made by NEC corp of Germany. Hope that helps.

i did too... used parts of the number as well got nothing tried to find nec batteries that were close on other sites nothing  the tricell is still outa my reach
