Great Idea For Saving or Strengthening Your Front Axle Steering Hubs..

When i run my buddies Xmod or any Xmods in the streets, often times the bottom part of the front steering axle hubs get stressed cracked or even cracked off due to going real fast, hitting road imperferfections, pebbles or debris.

Well, I found out a way to salvage them and make them stronger to save you some money.

I basically, cut the bottom part of the axle hub in half, getting rid of the stress crack. Then, I used the rubber tubes( they can also be used as heat shrink tubing for soldering two wires.) that come with the car when you open it up which is located on all for wheel axles where you have to take them off in order to put the wheels on. Its a very good idea to always save them as they always come in handy.

What I did with the tubing is cut it to the right length and just put i over the bottom part that i cut in half from the axle hub. Then, simply use a countersink screw, like the one's from the bottom of the chassis, to screw it in to the desired length of the shock play. Oh yeah, I just put a little dab of Krazy Glue on the very end of the screw thread to give it more strength or durability. So far, Its been the best solution and I highly recommend it for a quick or permanent fix.

Anyways, here are some pics to give you a better idea...

GREAT IDEA!! That part breaks WAAAY too easily, it's broken on both my car and my little brother's. I think it broke within one week. Might as well do this when you first get the car.
