Yokomo Usa
I was getting some stuff at local Kroger and I decided to look at super street mag. They had a small ad in there for Yokomusa.com rc cars. They are 1/10th and the ad said they will be MADE for the only purpose of drifitng.
I might have put this in the wrong forums but I was putting it in here because this is mainly the only forums I post on and since xmods are the lastest things i was wondering if this will beat the xmods in sale?
Im pretty sure they said they were upgradable and everything but it also said it will come with tires, suspension, and power to drift out of the box.
Site is at www.yokomousa.com
EDIT- i paused before i posted and I just watched the demo of these things and i will most likly 100% be selling my xmod for one of these.
EDIT EDIT- heafty price tag on these babies!

If we are talking about the same DubCity then yea around there.
Yet I personally (after rethinking the dang price) dont think these will replace the xmods...maybe just another add on the the rc community since they are so expensive. Yet I might still sell my xmod for one

I saw those videos from Yokomo's site. Pretty neat concept, but I bet somebody could find a way to duplicate the tire trick that they are using for other cars. They'll probably have a patent on that, though. I was definitely blown away by the drving, though, especially the guy running the AE86...

I love them but i think they are rip offs.
they come with no electronics and they are really exspensive. it probley would be cheaper to buy a hpi rs4 and uggrade it to drifting form (after all they are light enough and they have a lot of torque)(not to mention it is nitro)

im thinking the same exact thing. Its about time i start to get myself into nitro and something bigger than 1/28th.
The thought of a loud drifting nitro car sounds good to me. heh
