Tire size mod for extra clearance
I took my first set of soth slicks that were layng around a decided i could stretch them over the tires i already have on it. It is a close fit. The body doen't fit that great, i have to work on that. But the xmod w/out the body criuses over carpet. I do not have the awd kit yet. I was also thinking about putting some tape around the rim and then installing the soft tires for a little more ride height. I think that with a larger tire the lager scale bodies may look a little better. i hope this helps someone with height problems and if you have an idea for the body to fit better please let me know. I only tried the supra body.
On a side note i ordered a new controller and a knuckle from the RS 800 # The controller came with the crystal and the antenna. I guess i figure i was buying just the controller bare. it was under 9.00 . And when you order a knuckle the left is the driver side the right the passenger. I know people may know this but some people talk about sides from the front of a car and not the rear. todd
