best tires
im currently running my xmod with r.s. parts, for my tires im using the soft threads , for me they stick betr than the soft slicks ,however i want tires that stick like gum to the floor, i was wondering what would the best tires to use for the ultimate grip, either soft threads from r.s., modified foam tires (although i dont know how to modfy them) , the Kyosho Team F1 soft Slick tires (and at which degree, note i have no idea on what the various degrees mean), the formula1 competition soft tires or the zspeed competition soft tires... any sugestion would be great, just want you experts $.02
thanks a bunch

if your going to be drag racing which is what i use this for use double sided tape just wrap it around the tires youll have to change it every race though i recomend scotch tape brand it comes in yellow and purple plad package

thats a good idea, but im thinking along the lines of using those miniZ tires, or even, one guy posted that you mix r.s. foam tires in a secret sauce which makes the foam tires stick like glue, if only i knew what that secret sauce was...
btw on the miniz site under tires they have listed differing degrees, but i dont know what those degrees stand for, so if some could elaborate on the degrees and whats better (i know what a degree is but how dose it apply to the tires, and is higher or lower beter)
thnx for the help

go to ur lhs. get some of the speed grip tire compound. it comes in a little plastic bottle and it is bluish black like starched iodine. it will make ur tires so sticky, if ur not careful, u will shred them. don't worry i've done it to my elec 4tec. it only works on foam tires. it just makes rubber tires wet. for enhanced grip on rubber tires, use the counter-part product called buggy grip. it smells like anise (black licorice) and gives u a massive headache in confined areas.

well uh my moms not to pleased with the way the house smells already (thats what 11 total coats of acyrlic will get you, in a bathroom with exhaust fan running never the less) so the foam tire enhancer is like a last resort.. but compared to the miniZ tires listed how would that modified foam tire stack up, and also how often dose the foam tire enhancer need to be applied, and will it leave a residue on hard wood floors (my mom keeps a tidey house)

lol. after sitting for a while it gets absorbed. wait until the tire dries before u drive it. you'll also get the best grip. i don't think u should be painting inside anyway. it's bad for ur real HOUSE paint.

lol i remember that about painting... in your opinion what gives beter grip, the speed grip used on fpam tires, or buggy grip used on rubber tires, by the way how often must you repeat the dipping and soaking process
