My goal is to get this to fit under an Xmod body.(with all the Hobby grade electronics on it)
then make center shaft bearing holders(out of CF or aluminum)
an adjustable motor mount
wheel hubs to allow XS wheels to slip over them
axles(dogbones/U-joint)
find/gather up a complete screw set for the Xmod(maybe RS has them now)
attempt double front/rear A-arm setup
make an off road Xmod (soon - like next)
Not an all together complete list but that's most of it.
Make a screaming fast reliable Xmod(or resemblance of one) that will blow by most every mini-z (gonna be real tough but it's a fun goal)

Not wreck and break the thing.
I think that's a good place to start.

Sluggbug ,
Do you have any CAD drawings of your CF Chassie? Could have a look at them?

LOL Why yes I do have many CAD drawings of that chassis set up and many drawings of other idea's and configurations.
Why would you want those drawings? there's nothing in them that everyone else couldnt draw.(if they take the time)
If I just give out the drawings then anyone could just make it or atleast save A LOT of time.(cant do that sorry)
I'm sorry but it is bad enough that I even post a picture of it, I wont dare just give out drawings that I have weeks into but since it looks to be fragile I might not make this chassis.(needs to be tested)

Slugbugg, after you come up with a final revision/design of your CF chassis, will you be selling them?

yes most diffenently but I want a good product first and it takes a lot longer than I had hoped.
Those upper/lower CF pieces I cut weigh as much as just the lower stock Xmod chassis but my chassis looks fragile and I still cant get all the hobby grade electronics stuffed under an Xmod body.
Oh well I'm still working on it.

Just make sure 180 motors still fit...
That looks great, BTW. First I've seen of the CF version.

180 yeah most likely but I'm thinking an adjustable motor mount that I can screw or clamp a 45T too.
The 180 will most likely end up being the best overall choice since it fits much better.
Thanks BlaZin_Ns

my goal is to build the sweet body kit i designed for my supra. i wish i had a scanner so i could attatch the drawings. if it does get done it will have big side scoops on the front air dam (for the fake turbos) and a bigger fron grill made of mesh. BMW style turbo vents will take their rightfull place on the fenders ill use the wild body kit hood. stock side skirts roof scoop big fake cf and aluminum wing. the back will be a smoothed from the bottom of the taillights down with two skinny oval air diffusers under the license plate and have two big fart cans our the sides of the back air dam behind the rear wheels.

My goal is to have a Nomuken-style Skyline down to the smaller details, a very good drifting setup, and enough money to get my S13 Coupe and modify it(not likely).
