New Xmod !!!
Listen,
Im starting to get in to the whole Xmods thing and i want to buy one...not too expenssive but im willing to put some good money into this. So my question is what should i buy???
I was thinkin of getting this:
Silver 2003 Acura RSX
AWD Upgrade
Stage 2 Motor Upgrade
Wheel Upgrade
Rubber Tire Upgrade Kit
Metal Bearing Upgrade
Command Logic Lights
Rechargable Batteries and Charger (not so sure about this)
All this at about $145
is it worth it? or should i not even go for all this stuff??

Yuor good except for the charger and batts. You'll wan't Rayovac IC-3's. They charge in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours.

You might wanna add a suspension kit. You can buy IC-3's at Walmart or some stores like that. If you can't find it there I don't know where to find them off the net.

what about the bearings? im not even so sure what they do and if they come in an advantage at all
i was also wondering if i should get the rubber wheels or foam wheels? and does the car take normal aaa batteries or like some special batteries for it??

Here's my suggestion. Take it or leave it.
Get the car, lights, AWD upgrade and then invest in 2 good sets of rechargable batteries (the IC3s are good) and a charger.
Now, go play with your car, enjoy it as it is.
Take the upgrades in as you learn what you really need or want.
I've noticed alot of folks go crazy and get the parts and then find they dont use some of the things as much as others.
This way you are getting a feel for what works for you.
IMHO

the bearings help the wheels spin a little faster but its not real noticeable also if they get dirty you might find yourself putting the bushings back in. i would say get the suspension instead of the bearings, the bearings will probalby get dirty and not help that much in the first place

definitly do not get the bearings if you race out doors. it'll probably ruin them. i only race in doors, so the bearings dont get dirty.

i would not get the bearings either they are not that great and if you do get some dont get the pnes radio shack sells they are too expensive and you can get better ones at a hobby shop for cheaper
good luck

Your location changes things. Since you will have to ship it all anyhoo, might as well get everything you want at once.
And as mentioned, avoid the bearings unless you race indoors exclusively.

skates bearings are different. they are better quality and they are also sealed. meaning you cant look right in them and see the balls in the bearing. so dirt stays out alot better. i'd stick with no bearings but if you think its not going to be a problem go for it
