miniz monster
I'm getting a Mini Monster in a week or two, how good are they stock? Any comments from anyone who recently bought one?

They are plenty fast even stock and handle exceptionally well. You will still probably want to upgrade though, and if you do the first things I did where install the Overland oil filled shocks and an Xspeed motor. Those are the only upgrades available at this time.
I have jumped mine quite a bit and ran it outside most of the time, and I haven't broken anything yet.

I don't have an Overland yet (getting one real soon), but I know from minizracer.com that the mounting system the Monster uses is different than the Overland. So without some modification, you cannot just switch them.
