SkyLine lip fix (i think)

Hey guys, i have noticed on alot of skylines the hood lip pops out alittle, i don't have a skyline but i think if u cut alittle of the front bumper mount off it should make that lip disaper, tell me if think that will do it, i don't have a skyline so i don't no if it will work or not

on some with the body kits with th cf hoods they seem to stick out alittle
