Question Bigger and Better Motors " NEW PICS INSIDE Must see"

Hello all my Xmod modders !!!! I think it is time to bump it up to next step with these cars . We need to find better ways to make these car's preform so we can put the Mini Z's to shame So what do we need to do put bigger motor's , better suspension, servo's , what you think ? Maybe fab some better metal parts ? Lght weight metal of course ! I'm pretty sure I'am done with the 130 motor and going to get into 180's like neurokinetik is thinking of doing . I race out side so i have allready found out that i have to make skid plates or the plastic will just wear away . I know back in high school in metal shop class we use to make stuff out of aluiminum . I made casts in some sand stuff and poured liquid aluiminum in them to make stuff . Maybe some like that

Ok I guess i done talkin crazy See you on the mean street's fellow RC Street Racers

One more thing LOL

I was speaking about metal parts . Well you can order metal axels from RS for the front and the back. The plastic one's just break all a part with the abuse I put these things threw. I have some on order cant wait to they get here

sounds good i like seein a man on a mission.. btw (dont hate me) i went over to miniZracer.com and checked out der parts, dey got some hefty motors and yes metal parts... take em out wit der own equipment, btw i kon a 180 motor is bigger but is that d micro RS4 motor cuz ive herd those 2 b beasts (tourque monsters)

as fer suspension here is my idea (if u use plz give me a lil credit) i wus plannin on usin all hard springs all round but put the med and stok springs as well in the back...(not ontop but interwoven) and in the front have the hard and med springs interwoven.

the intervoven idea is a tough concept 2 explain so ill try to pslain it
\ (this is a stok spring the
\ dashes are the coils)

all u have to do is put the springs next 2 each oda and slip em together.. and it uses the hard ware u already own.... finaly some genious figured u could use a paper clip as a stabilizer bar (i love it)

Lol im really bored cuz im usually doin h.w. fer 4 hours but heres anoda idea.... could it b possible to wire say 4 more batts (9.6V) in series after the chip.. like have them wired in so the current from the chips goes into the batts and fires 9.6 volts into d motor?? this would give insane power and not affect the chip wuts so ever plz tell me if dis would wrk cuz ill b willing 2 try on my X-mod wen it comes (diagram)

(Stok)

Chip---Motor

(My Idea)

headache

Reading your posts gives me a headache, due to the horrific spelling and grammar. I know you think it's cool to try to talk "street" and maybe you type slow and use "dis" instead of this, but if you clean it up, then I'm sure you'll get more responses. L8.

Also, none of the stuff will work from the RS4 because it is 1/18 scale and the x-mod and mini-z are 1/28 scale. That's a HUGE size difference.

RELAYS would work awsome, theyre a switch which is turned on by electricity. So u could have 4 batteries, and when u accelerate, the relay automatically adds 4 more bats to the current when it senses the first 4 batts. Hard concept sorta.... i dont know if it works on a propo car, but they use them on auldeys all the time!

first off im sorry for the slang... i still type the retarded way.. Back to the subject... what i was proposing was to have the extra batteries wired in series after the chip. in other word the car would be stock until the wiring that connects the chip to the motor, (their would be 4 more cells in their) so theoreticly oyu would have 4.8V in the chip but 9.6 at the motor, and the extra cells would only activate when you hit foward/ reverse thus completeing the circut...

Exclamation 180 sized motor

Works great with stock electronics... used the 11 tooth pinion. same top speed, but faster acceleration.. Had to glue on my tires.

Thumbs up sweet motor

Thats a nice motor you got there . How much was it ? I went to my hobby store the other day , and they had RS4 motors there . The one I'm looking at buyin has a round can but it is the same size as a 180 in lenth . It looks pretty nice They also had a motor called the Big Block but it seemed a little to big tho .

I have been running one of those, along with the GPM modified motor. The Team Orion is really good if you take off 10 turns, and even better if you do that and then run it on 7.2V. The acceleration I get with this setup is astounding. I've drag raced a 1/10th scale AWD pan car and killed him for the first 10 feet, until he could get his speed up and blow by me. Oh, and that was with me running four cells and him running six. Next time, I will also be running six cells, and I think the driver will be somewhat surprised when I pull on him for the first 10 feet, then continue to pull away...

Stock, the Team Orion motor with only four cells and AWD is a killer combo on a road course.
