I went and bought the Steering & suspension upgrade.

I'm going to put stiff springs up front and medium in the rear i think this will keep my tires gripping the ground pretty well (I don't wanna drift) and i'm gonna use the 1.5 tie rod for steering because i basically just want my car to haul arse! i race in parking lots and there's this park down town i always race on it has really long straights.

And when i get the Stage2 motors i'm gonna install the topspeed motor.Unfortunately my car isn't in working order right now because i lost a bushing the prob will be fixed soon enough though.

Well just thought i'd share the news

I've got a similar setup, different tie rod on my Skyline. Works pretty well, then again..I just recently found out if you push in that little button next to where the body clips onto the chassis, it'll lock down the body and make your rear suspension work alot better..-_-, I'm dumb sometimes.

having the front too hard will make it understeer too much. i say medium especially if you play outside where it needs to absorb some bumps. experiment in the parking lot and see what setup you like better

That's my whole goal to have alot of understeer because i want the widest turning radius possible so as to not turn so sharp and reduce speed (I seriousely race this thing in wide open parking lots and stuff). I test it out and stuff on our outdoor garage (I have to sweep the thing every time i drive on it ) it's fairly smooth.

So yeah if it doesn't do to well with the stiff up front i'll just slap on the mediums and either keep medium all around or throw the soft springs back there.

Everything you said is true but it's just that i'm aiming in a completely different direction then you.

Well i'm gonna test it soon my batt's are still charging.

About yo sig i have NFSU it's a good game but it has almost to much of a arcade feeling to it.I owned TER2 for DreamCast and my PS2 i beat it nearly three times on my PS2 it's a very good game you can tune every single little aspect of your car GearRatios even but your car rarely seemed fast enough to beat anything i had a friggin S15 all the good stuff on it and i was getting beat by AE86 Trueno's and Levin's whats up with that? and then you'd go look in the little section that gives details and stuff about the other racers and they'll be running like 180HP and your running over 200HP and they still spank yo ass.And yes for $20.00 bucks it's well worth the money.I havn't picked up TER3 yet i can't find it anywere man!

Overall it's a very good game and i would pay even $50.00 for it.

And about InitialD i need the inside scoop on it man i was going to buy the BoxSet when it came out (BoxSets are the only way to go)But you seem to have some info about the series.....also is the game coming to the US? They have the game of it in Japan and it would rock if we got it!

Oh yeah! Don't bash on Honda's to much.....I drive one

Ehh..this is all kinda off topic, but it'd be rude not to respond. Yes, I don't like Hondas. I know many enthusiasts are on the board, and they're fine with me, I'm just not a fan myself. NFSU is a shallow "customization and tuning" game in which you don't actually get to tune anything and is marketed towards "The Fast and the Furious" wannabe racers. Check EB and Best Buy for TXR3. And get it ASAP. I believe I will post a TXR3 thread in the games area soon. (If anyone even visits there..) It is like TXR0 minus 0's flaws and tons of enhancements. I can link you to a website for true Initial D products (boxed sets) for very little scratch, AIM me sometime. One more thing, your fully tuned car getting beat in straights by AE86 Truenos..that was just a programming flaw, and trust me, its fixed now.

*edit* I sure hope we don't get the Initial D Special Stage Playstation 2 game *shudders..* that'd make me sick, no no, its not that its a bad game, its quite good..its just that I know Tokyopop would stick their nose in Sega's business and wave enough money in their face to allow their stupid US name changes and story hacks. I can't stand the US manga, nor the series, even that short lived ZZ SE commerical annoyed the bejezus out of me.

Well i just tested the thing out and i don't have anything good to say about my setup i'm going to put red in the back and yellow in the front and see how that works.

It slowed the car down incredibly during turning it was pretty pathetic.

I'll try the next setup next i'll get back at ya in a bit

I know it's off topic but it's my thread Takashi

Listen to what they said about TER3 in my latest issue of EGM these people are idiots!!

"The game about driving around Tokyo's freeway sytem returns. Though you can now visit Nagoya and Osaka, little else has changed. It's a poor racing game with outdated visuals and a low price."

These people deserve a nice smack in the head so they'll come back to real life and quit being little geeky nerds who live on CupNoodle's and Porn.

I'm glad the little prob is fixed and now this game is definetly coming to my game libary

Oh and i'm fine with you not liking Honda that's your oppinion and that's what counts.

Ok well the Yellow up front and red in the back is a very good setup it runs great but it drags alot i suggest using this setup on a pretty well smooth surface.

Now i'm going to put yellow all the way around and i think i'll be pretty happy with that and i love the 1.5 Steering rack it's perfect!

Edit:I just went and tried out the yellow all the way around and i love it it's my official setup

Ignore major publication's reviews of the game, its only getting bad reviews because Genki isin't shoving gobs of cash down the reviewer's throats to say its a good game like many companies do. I tend to generally ignore published game reviews in magazines and even IGN nowadays, when I'm curious, I check www.gamefaqs.com , because those are people whom have bought the game with their own money and will pretty much tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth about it, rarely any bias. So yeah, the major reviewers do not know what they are talking about, as an avid racing gamer, I alone can tell you this game is well worth the 20 bucks, and is not just a throwaway budget title. View the "TXR3" post in the games forum of TinyRC for further TXR3 info and fun.
