DONT TAKE IT BACK
the problem is the awd, the red limited slip differential in the back of the car when you put the awd in messes it up. just put the stock white diff. in the back

Yea that happened to me. Just place the white one. It meshes alot better, than the AWD one.

there could be two totaly different problems here it could be the awd or the controler. reinsert both cyristals. set STRANGE to MAX. do the fornt wheels even turn?? if they dont then it prob. the controler.

I took it back the guy at radio shack poked around with it for about 15 mins. Then he said it could be the streering motor he said " here just take this (demo car) home and take out the streering motor switch it with yours. You have been in here a few times i trust you". so i take it home take it all apart and see that the connections are not comeing off with out cutting them. take it back the guy says take off the awd and i will give you a new car.
That made me happy
I hope it will be this easy when something breaks in the future
Thanks for all the replys
Later

When I got my Xmod It wouldnt turn. I didnt know that so I
drove it on a table and it crashed into my cow and the cow got mad and hit it with its bell. After that my Xmod could turn but it
could'nt go foward.

My second XMod (the RSX) turned pretty slow. Since I couldn't return it (raised the body for front wheel clearance), I decided to mess with the servo. It's hard to describe, but inside there's this slipping function on one of the gears in there that allows the servo to be loose if the opposing force on it is too great. It's like a gear with teeth on the inside and a smaller gear fits into it, the smaller gear being connected to the shaft by plastic spoke "springs" so it can move in and out. I took one of the plastic bushings and used it as a buffer as i tapped those two gears further down the shaft and it tightened it up. I might have to do this to my Skyline as well since it's starting to turn slow in one direction (you can hear it slipping (makes kind of a grinding noise)as it turns left at a standstill). If you don't want to go that far with repairs, then just return it for a new one =)
