Rechargable batteries
does anyone know how many times you can recharge the batteries in he upgrade battery kit? and does anyone know how long they last and low long it take to recharge them?

As for about how many times you can charge it im guessing at least 200 (I really have no idea). The batteries last for about 30-40 minutes each run. They take about 2 hours to get fully charged.

most claim to be able to recharge up to 1000 times. the cheaper ones will claim 300

ive heard that any rechargable batteries will last about 5 years

1000 is very common for NiMH batteries. If you buy NiCd in the future, though they have their certain advantage as RC batteries, they don't last nearly as long (I THINK, i thought they last ~500 times) and must be fully drained before recharging. Rechargeable alkalines last shorter than NiCd, significantly less I believe around ~200 times I think, and don't have the same steady output under load.
I could be wrong though...

go get the rayovac ic3 batteries... they charge in 15 minutes and they last atleast an hour and a half and they are really strong.. i bought them and i like them.. they are expensive but worth it

I've seen some at my local wal-mart not too sure about the price though. I think that the charger and the batteries together cost about $30 to $40.

4 AAA cost $13. the charger that charges four batteries comes with two AA. it cost $27. i got mine at walmart. they are defenitly worth it!!

YES!!!!!!  sorry, but yes they are much better. rs sells them also but they are called radioshack i-c3. they are better then the xmod ones!

It seems like Rayovac has built a good reputation among the small car crowd, and Sanyo built a good reputation among hobby RC racers in general.
