Hi,
here ( http://www.microtrucks.de/tttt/Bastel/bastel.html) you find a little "howto" about a simple TTTT. OK, its in german, but I think babelfish or google will be able to help you to solve this problem ;-)
There also some good pictures of the frame and the drivetrain.
The best choice to start is a 2 axle Truck with a lot of space inside.
The brass frame is a nice thing, but it isnt nessesary. You can also use the original frame from the resign modell.
Another good way to starting a rc-truck scaled 1:87 is reasemble a Fallercar ( http://www.faller.de/html/carsyst1engl.html).
Here you only have to build in the electronic parts. Steering axle and Driveline are already inside.
Best regards
Thorsten

Hi,
yes you can use the original resign-frame. In some cases it is bette to glue some extra resin-stripes on it to make it stronger.
The brass frame is a "nice to have", but ist isnt nessesary in every case.
This truck on the picture is builded without a brass-frame
best regards
Thorsten

Hi,
the car on the picture is a modified "Fallercar".
But you can use a Faller frontaxle (sale by the Fallercar dealer as a spare part) in nearly every other car. So you have a good working moving frontaxle.
It can be mounted by using normal resign glue.
To suspend the rearaxle you have to glue the garbbox in the Mainframe. I mostly use the 1:30 or 1:120 gearboxes from www.mikroantriebe.de
This one you can mounted by using rapid glue or resin glue.
If you want a supension with springs, so I suggesst you to use a brass frame.
best regards
Thorsten
