FET mod vs E Turbo: Which would be more practical?
Ok here's the perspective I'm coming at this from. I have my bits for playing around the house, I bought an Xmod so I can race on a competitive level. No competition around here yet. In the meantime, I like to make things go fast. So I'm already looking beyond a stage 2 motor.
RS promised us a Xmod racing series in April. I'd hate to get busted with the FETs, and get disqualified. Don't really want 2 Xmods at this point, so the E turbo is looking like an option, because it could be removed if needed.
On the other hand, I'm leaning towards the FET mod, because you'd be replaceing one part with another. Eliminating clutter, and keeping it looking stock. I prefer mods that look stock.
What's your take on this?

Fets all the way!
The fet mod is what I am going to do after I get a stage 10 for four reasons.
The fets are hidden (unless you make a 2*6 stack) and do look stock.
So far, i don't think anyone has managed to get an external turbo to work.
With an e turbo, there is no room for anything else like extra cells.
And you can get them pre installed on ebay. Just search for "xmod fet" ,there is a skyline preinstalled. (look at his other items, he sells the fets for you to do it yourself)
If you do this before me, please give a tutorial. I think I know how but want to make sure.
