it doesn't seem that much faster than a regular xmod.

For some reason, the video is not working for me...it just shows all these random symbols when it loads. Not sure why, but the video is not working. Oh well, I'll see it sometime.

Just wait till I get a vid of it racing the dude I know with a 5 cell XMod and you'll see how much faster it is! lp_reanimator, try right clicking and saving the file, if you haven't already.

I'll download the video later, because i don't want to wait half an hour (sucky 56k modem) to see a video i can always see later. I guess it's fast, and I'll take your word.

Its a 9V spliced in with the existing 4 AAA's. I would not recommend adding any more current than what is going through there with a 9V added. To think that adding an extra AAA is controversial, a 9V is much worse, and crazy enough people are speaking of adding two 9V! My single 9V and 4 AAA's are working well, but are somewhat unstable. Like I said I wouldn't add any more power than that.

The black on the back is actually the 9V battery w/ electrical tape around it.
I RACED A 5 CELL SUPRA TODAY!
The race was a blow out, I absolutely killed the 5 cell with my V9V, I didn't manage to get it on tape, but it was truly amazing. My car was gone before the 5 cell even reached top speed or the halfway mark for that matter. Both cars have a stage 2 road race motor, mine has soft sprngs, a tie bar, and soft treaded tires and a 9V added in. The other car has soft slicks and an extra AAA added in. I hope to catch this on tape soon, I won't forget!

just thought i'd bump this up to the top.
Anyway, do you still have the 9V on there? I want to see you race the 5-cell. Whenever you bring it to school, I would like to see the race.

the back is where the 9V sits. I think he covered it with electrical tape, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen it in person.
BTW, on the video, how did you get it to turn so quickly? Usually yours drifts like crazy. But I guess it turns better with the 9v.
