New.....thing. (bit clone?) "Twister Stunt Car"

"R/C Twister" Remote controlled stunt car.

Oval can Bullet-clone type car. Binary controls like just about every other Micro RC. Non-FCC approved frequencies. (Mine is 35 MHz) Powered by 3 AA batteries. Instead of the normal Charging Pad, it's got a 1/8" plug-in and the port on the car.

Body: Clear plastic, painted in 3-colors. Body color, black for windows and some stuff, and gold doors. Mine had 5 stickers. Overall impression of the body is: shaped kinda like a Dr. Seuss thing.

Instead of the normal steering assembly, it's got some really WEIRD system where it spins the front wheels either clockwise or counter-clockwise.

It's got some 1" diameter rims, 1/4" wide, tires are 1/8" wide. Then mounted on the roof, it's got 9/16" diameter plastic wheels on a "wheelie bar" mounted to the roof. Rims are chrome 5-spokes. Tires look like rubber bands with tread.

White Incandescent bulb (Not LED) is mounted under body, lights in Fwd or Rev. It's a little smaller than the christmas tree bulbs.

The box said something about "3 motors for extreme power", but I ripped it open to verify. It's got 2 pink end-bell with attached leads (like a MotorWorks); one for drive, the other for steering. And there is no third motor anywhere... I feel ripped off now, I want my 'Extreme Power' from the 3rd motor.

It's got a steering gear-box, and it's got a drive gear-box. Solid axles for both.

PCB comes pretty much like a Bit Char-G. Main Capacitor is smaller. There are resistors between "F" and "B" leads, and the "R" and "L" leads. It's got a chip "RX-23S"

Comes stock as a Dual-Cell. Looks to be probably the same batteries as used in Tomy micro rc stuff.

Chassis set-up really reminds me more of a Compition Wheelie-Stander. Despite the 3 screws holding body to chassis, the design feels more like it was intended to be taken apart than either Bits or ZZ's; but that's mostly because it doesn't have those tiny steering magnet wires to worry about.

Gas America, $15.00. Wicked base to start a Rug-Runner project. If you put a better steering mechinism in, and put on better tires, it could devistate all.

Fun, but doesn't have the traction to play Rock-crawler, and slides around on most surfaces. Steering is weird. Worth it, but the body is strange, and the tires suck!!!

yah i messed around with some of them at the mall, they are fun to 'battle' the other person. i found out that they steer somewhat normal when the batts are getting low lol doesnt have enought power to spin the front axle. 15 bucks tho, i am used to my clones being 10 bucks and under, so i didnt buy.

I found them for $7 at target and got one. It has dual batteries inside and 2 bit charg motors with excellent gearboxes that give it a lot of torque! Besides that in stock form they are pretty bad at turing or doing anything with precision. It's more entertaining to just watch it flip and spin around on the ground. The gearboxes can be removed like "modules" they are screwed onto the chasis and can be removed very easily. I think the gearboxes would be very good for making a rc plane, they are very powerful yet still have high rpm! Possibly even a RC heli if you know what your doing...
