New generation of Xmods?

Are we already seeing the new generation changes on the Xmods like we did with the Zip Zaps?

Car on the left is one of the first Skylines, car on left is later Civic chassis'. Notice the receiver crystal on the older Skyline is sitting taller than the Civic. I checked this against my newer Skylines and the new ones are sitting low. This may have something to do with everyone having problems with their Skylines. Possible that RS noticed something wrong and fixed it?

when you think about it, it took longer for zip zaps to improve, xmods guys are pretty fast.....i guess because they are selling well and a lot of people were returning them.

if you look closely at the crystal plugs, the new one has cylinders that are 1 piece instead of two and are curled out on top. so they look like a made piece. the only downside is that you cant adjust them if they get loose

not necessarilily. check the crystal plug. if it has two metal contacts in each hole you are most likely to have a problem but if there are silver contacts in the holes they are the newer ones. and yes the newer ones are better because they shouldnt have as many problems as the old skylines had.
