the sparco steering wheel
how do i secure it to the controller? i took otu the old one and attached the new shaft to the new wheel. i just dunno how to secure the new wheel with shaft and the locking plate on to the controller. i mean, i put a screw in at the end of the shaft like the diagram shows but it doesnt do anything, i can pull the wheel out easily and the locking plate just comes off since it isnt secured on to the controller. anyone knwo what i'm doing wrong?

sounds like you stipped it... i would put super blue in the hole on the steering wheel then put the screw back in it, if that doesn't work try using a bigger screw.
but first make sure you have the right screw

yes i know, i put the wheel with shaft in, then i put the plate in the back then i put the screw in thru the hole in the plate. but that screw only screws into the shaft and doesnt even touch the plate...so it really doesnt secure it. i could take a picture of it but this is what's happened so far. i assembled the wheel along with shaft. i put the whole thing through the hole in the controller. i then put the locking plate on the other side of the controller. i put screw in the hole in locking plate, i secure the screw. nothing happens, the screw is just in the shaft it doesnt keep the shaft or wheel secured to the locking plate, therefore the locking plate and the wheel with the attached shaft is loose and useless. i dunno what's wrong with it. i stripped the first screw but that doesnt matter since i found another screw that fits the shaft's hole.

well the original one got stripped by my dad. the thing is more like a circle now than a cross...how big should the head be anyways cuz the hole on the locking plate is pretty wide and i dunno how to secure it.
