I've been tuning this S2000 and I'm looking for a new motor for it.
anybody tried the 1.6 motor? is it any good?
its the 1.6 motor in the Shop here made by Tomy?

The 1.6 in the Shop is the BitChar-GMotors 1.6. It's great for technical tracks or boosters. Great looking S2K!

Nice ride!
I like your carbon fiber hood!
Looks great! You should steal a spoiler from a skyline and super glue or find a way to attach it to your s2k! Then it would look kickin'.

yeah you got me red handed. it is KIT rear axle
isn't the gear ratio of FFZZ the same as the gear set ratio? but just different color?
my S2000 with 2.2 is faster than a regular 2.6

you're right they do. but when i raced my friend's 2.6 with regular gear(9.xx:1) he was faster for the first 2 feet. then i took over with higher top speed and passed him
i guess you can't have both acceleration and top speed....unless you have a booster

haha i noticed that too its like i had a booster or NOS or something because it would creep for a few feet, and then suddenly SHOOT forward. that was kinda kool, but bad in general for turns and tracks...

1.6 Coco Motor
I have tried them, they have more torque than the normal motors, and it is my understanding that it is what Tomy is going to use on the new trucks.
I got my1.6 to get 1.0 motor performance on a car with a lot of mods. I use it with the 12:1 gear. I know most people go for speed when modding bits, but I go for Torque and acceleration. This is better for twisty tracks and bit-soccer.

yeah i have the 1.0, 2.2, 2.6 and 3.0 motor. the 3.0 is pretty much torqueless. so its good to use 3.0 with boost. the boost helps with acceleration.
