datsun/nissan 280zxt body
Just wanted to throw out pics of my work in progress of my 81 turbo datsun xmod conversion. Theres still much more painting to do and a few more body pieces to epoxy on, but so far it's turned out pretty good.

Now, that looks pretty cool. Where did you get the body? Nice work.

its an AMT brand model that I had sitting around. (I own and race a real 83 280zxt so I'm kinda in to the z car thing.) Anyways, I'm gonna get a light kit for the car and my model came with clear headlight lenses and red tinted tails too. So I'm gonna have that all hooked up too. I'll post pics of it when its completely done, but I just hadn't seen anyone else fot any other bodys to these cars yet so I wanted to get my pics out. the real car looks like this:

I've been working on that. I'm going to take some light sheet plastic and glue it on from the inside, but I'm painting it black first, along with the rest of the windows.

man that is just flat out awesome. i like how you color matched it to your real car. are you going to put a spoiler on it also? it would be easy to make out of plastic.

Do you have the wheelbase adjusted on your XMod, or is it still in the longest setting? It looks like you need to use one of the shorter settings...
Other than that, nice work.

Great pictures. I may go and pick up one of those at Wal-mart. I have seen that model kit for $7.99 on clearance.

240 z
I went and got one of the 240Z kits that are out right now- they fit on the RSX chassis. I just need to trim the front wheelwells. Open them up a little twards the door, and re form the flare.
The crystal is in the way, but it can be flipped over.
