I'm not the best with a soldering iron, so if I can do the swap, you will probably be able to do it too. Just open up both cars and take a good look at the locations where the wires are soldered. The wires and locations are almost identical for both cars so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out what goes where. I suggest starting by taking the bit board off completely, making sure to leave the colored wires soldered to the board, but unsolder the very fine steering wires from the board. Then unsolder the colored wires form the Zip Zap chassis and solder in the Bit Char-g wires into the Zip Zap chassis in their corresponding locations. Lastly I suggest moving the fine steering wires from the Zip Zap board, one at a time, to the Bit Char-g board. This way you won't get them mixed up. Both boards are marked with L and R for the steering wires and the other two will connect to the same spot as the red power wire. Everything worked for me the first time I did the swap, so I'm sure there are alot of guys out there who will be able to do it with no problems. If you have any questions, I'll try to help.
