My RSX Project (Finally w/ pictures!)

Used TS line Tamiya spraypaint, metallic blue. a few errors, but all my fault, not the paint. not completely finished, got too dark outside to continue painting. here's some images of what i do have:

Masking was done with an x-acto blade, and the tape was bought at home depot. blue "long-mask" tape specifically designed for non-bleed painting.

Well, from what I can see, it looks pretty darn good. Awesome color too. What mistakes did you have?

nope, didnt paint over the headlights, popped them out, i just masked that area so it stayed silver. There weren't any serious problems, just some overspraying in one area near the door, and a few scratches. just sanded those down, and in the morning im doing a final coat or two.

im not sure about normal...i would say just go with blue homedepot masking tape tho. its like 5 bucks for an abnormally large roll. Or go 'tamiya'. Everyone likes them

im not finishing the car. i can't even pinpoint any real mistakes that i didn't fix...but it just doesn't feel right on my standards. If anyone is interested in purchasing it or trading for it i'll finish it, otherwise it's just going to the junkyard.

once again, if you are interested in it, there is nothing fatally wrong with it, i'm just not satisfied.

It reminds me of all those low riders I see around here, where the kids put all these body kits on there cars, and don't have enough money left over to paint them, and just drive them around like that.

Is that just Virginia, or what?

BTW, It actually doesn't look bad at all.

Haha BC i know exactly what you're talking about. Near my school (yeah im still in school ) there's always some junky b-class import with a hunk load of stickers/aero parts on it. They make it sound fast by taking a muffler that looks like a gutter and attaching it so it makes loud noises.

yeah, i decided to slap on one last good luck coat, and i feel a little better about it, thanks for the push to keep me going.
