AAA because you can still use the body when you install them. The only difference between them is AAs last longer than AAAs.

There is no room for the bigger AAs. So if you want to use the body you have to use AAAs

Yes, it's made for AAAs ONLY. AAs will not fit.

actually, someone did stick in AA's, he was claiming a big speed boost but the weight would've offset it

How do you know? Have you done it yet? I would think it might be too much for the electronics. But you wouldn't know because you haven't tried it yet, have you? AFAIK, no one has tried a 9v battery yet. Plenty of people have speculated about it, but no one seems willing to try it.

nah, it works, just too big to fit and i dont feel like removing the stock battery holders from the chasis and removing the sodered wires from the battery holder

and

has any1 noticed that in the starter kits manual in the caption it says 4 aaa but in the picture it shows 4 AA, look at the batteries.
lol

have U tried it yet?

the reason nobody wants 2 try it yet is becuase i dont feel like dropping 50 bux trying 2 squeeze a lil more perforance out of the car the WRONG way... id rather go better motor+turbo than trying to push stock units FAR past where they were designed to work
