About bodies
I found a place that sells A whole crapload of differnet bodies in 1/24 scale. My question is will the wheel position of the Xmods fit into the wheel wells of 1/24 scale bodies??? If so, ill be a very happy person . However, i would probably have to make mounts on the bodies so it would fit right on the chassis.

No, they probably won't fit. There are a handful of 1/25th scale bodies that are close enough to work, but 1/24th is generally too big.
If your local hobby shop is cooperative, they'll open up boxes for you so you can match the wheelbase up to your chassis. Mine did this for me.

4th Gen (1985-96) Corvettes (not the newer C5, unfortunately) also older Corvettes, like the '67. As I said, they have to be 1/25th, and the 4th gen requires extensive cutting, gluing and putty to make it work. The '67 will be much easier. Keep in mind you still have to fab mounts.
I have both, and I'll post pics when they are done.
I saw a 1/24th Mini Cooper as well, that one might just work.

Awsome dude, thanks for the info... ill have to look for some 1/25 bodies because i really want some muscle cars..... I also had the idea of making a blower coming out of the hood somehow, that will take some thought...... possible just cutting it off a diecast car or something will work...

I saw a bunch of Shelby Mustangs locally, they would be a nice choice. Something like a Chevelle or a GTO will probably have too long of a wheelbase, I'm afraid.

I was thinking more in the lines of a Camaro or Cuda or GTO, however a chevelle and mustang would be nice,too.... How about a nova???? I can put chalk on the rear tires so it looks like its spinning smoke hahahaha...... or powdered sugar... hmm all these ideas...i better get to work

Look
Have you guys done a search on ebay for lexan slot car bodies? Right now, there is a GTO and a 68 charger. Both are around $8, but I think the guy is in australia.

Most 1/24 scale bodies are too long. You can find some like the Saleen GT S7 body I have that do not have the wheel wells imprinted or marked, and you can easily cut them to match your wheel base. I'm working on the Saleen now.
