got ground clearence?

well this has been a problem for my skyline since i got it. i mostly drive it out side and well theres clumps of tar and what not, no good for an xmod. i was zippin down my street i see a car so i start to turn, i only feel safe if my babys at my feet. well i hit something and she wouldnt go. i get up there and the front end, the black part, had got a little broken. well this was unrepairable and unacceptable. all in all i put the dremel to the front end. now i can go up curbs and over bigger cracks its alot better IMO.

i'll post a pic as soon as i get my dads digital camra

I chipped the front skirt as well, it seems the best thing to do is to get rid of it.

I thought before that it might affect the handling in a negative way, but I wrote a post about that and most seemed to agree that at the car's scale and speed it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Deffinetly get those pics done!

The body kits make the ground clearance even lower, so I wouldn't think about getting them if you have issues with the stock ones.

to get a little ground clearance without cutting, take the front body tab off the chassis and put washers in to raise it a little.
