ridealot100,glad to hear you'll be alright.

I almost hate to use a dremel cutting disc just because of the chance of a disk blowing apart.

I think I got my scare at my old job while using a 1/4 air die grinder (about 20,000rpm's)to cut a piece a aluminum sheet and the 3" disc shattered, pieces were everywhere.I was very glad I had the sense not to be in line with the disc edge because if a piece of that had hit me I'd have off to the clinic for stitches.I had safety glasses on and gloves but we never did find all the pieces of the disc some of it was probally stuck in the ceiling.

safety glasses/safety shields are very good things to use.

Good idea but remember that even the reinforced disc's can still shatter, thats what was on the air die grinder that blew apart on me.

As I have gotten older I really go out of my way to get the saftey gear I need.

Trying to look through dirty/scratched saftey glasses is still easier than looking through a glass eye.Think about it.
(I dont want a glass eye because of a moment of stupidity)
