So, i bought my Xmod tonight

I got it off of ebay, it looks like a good deal 65 bucks shipped, and i didnt have to go to the store or anyhting. it's coming with stage 2 motors, and light kit already installed... i still have enough money to buy all the other parts for hte xmods i just dont know what would be good to buy i only want performance, and i mainly want to drift at the tennis courts, so let me know what a good set up is for drifting, and doughnuts

no you didnt get riped i almost bought one on ebay for $80 shiped with nothing. untill i went to the radio shack site and got one for $50 and a stage 2 motor for $16. everything together with 2 day shipping was $82 so you did pretty good

I live in texas (why)
It says its used but for a min just to see if it would not arive DOA... if i dont like it i can always sell it the same way i bought it...

Dude, sounds like a waste of time to me to have to sell it if it's messed up when you get it. Should have gotten one from RadioShack's website, this way you know it's brand new.
I once bought a miniz from a hobby shop, and the package seem to have been opened already when I looked at it when I got home. Sure enought, there were electrical problems with it and I was pissed as hell. Just be careful what you buy. Never get anything used. Especially when the cars are cheap as hell brand new.

Ok, well first off, i got it for 60 bucks wich is not bad at all IMO, second of all if it has probs its not a big deal to sell it back on ebay, but most importantly i didnt even leave the house to buy it lol and u know. if i do get it ill probably sell it for 75 on ebay around christmas time just because ill be able to

3 things:
1) Sounds like you got a good deal.
2) If it has problems after being advertised to work just fine you should be able to go back to the seller. eBay does not put up with false claims in auctions.
3) If it does have problems why on earth would you turn around and sell it to someone else on eBay KNOWING IT HAS PROBLEMS??? Especially since you could probably take it back to Radio Shack, saying you got it as a gift, and swap for a brand new one???

and buying forom rat shack isn't always fool proof. I got one lastnight and tried to get it running right there in the store. no go. all was well, they sent me home with another one that we tested first.
