bodys
hey i got a question about the bodys u guys got, do u guys make ur own bodys or do u buy them cuz sume of them look really kool and i wanna know where to get them

For the Bit Char-Gs, there are already a lot of body styles out there. You can get ones that are clear plastic and paint them yourself. Some guys have even gone and modified them by making them into drop tops or even added ground effects.
You can get slot car lexan bodies for them, which gives you an even larger range of car bodies to modify.
Finally, you can also get toys like the Muscle Machines and modify your Bit chassis to fit one of them.
Here's an example of what I did with a MM..

not a very clean job with the tape and all...
but thumbs up for trying...
and yeah it WOULD way the car down, you gots to have a dual cell with a 3.8 to get decent speeds

Yeah, the weight of the vehicle bogs the speed a little bit, but not too badly. I'm using a 2.2 in it, so it's relatively higher torque to get the whole car moving.
The tape's there for now because I haven't decided how I wanted to mount the chassis, as well as the fact that I still need to repair the steering linkage cable.
