27MHZ, lag problem?

I bought a 27 mhz frequency Lancer Evolution Microsizer and it seemed it had a smaller antenna range than the other Microsizer/Bit Char-G me and my friends bought. I had it replaced the next day at the store with a 27 mhz S2000 and it did the same thing when I got home. It starts lagging just a few feet from me and its brand new. Does anyone have this same problem and/or knows how to fix this?

Did you take the knot out of the antenna?

Yah. I had the same problem with my lancer. If you take out the not and make the antena strait out the back rather than curveing around the pcb board. that gave my car about 5 feet mor reach and eliminated laging until atleast 10 of 12 feet

The 27mhz cars have always been notorious for bad range. Some are good, but most are poop. The best solution I've found is to go pick up a clone 27mhz car and use those controllers, because it's not the car, it's the controller. I use "cyclona" controllers. They are about $10.00 over here.
I know the LXX controllers aren't a good solution because one of the controls are reversed. I don't know wich one is reversed, but if it's just the steering then you can just flip the magnet in the steering compartment of the car.
There are other clone cars that have good controllers, but I don't remember wich are good and wich are bad. Also, they may say 27mhz, but still not be compatable.
Generally speeking I haven't found optional controllers for the booster/2 speed cars or the super bits, only the regular bitchargers.
I would easily recomend the "cyclona" clone for the controller. The cars aren't so great themselves, but you can use them for spare parts. The "cyclona" controllers I have give me about 40 ft. range and they're completely compatable with the original bitcharge cars.
