Ugh, Motor Help
So,
I bought a 3.8 motor from tinyrc. I have been running it in mid-air (wheels not touching ground) for maybe 2 charges, and ive drove it on the ground for another 2 charges. Sometimes if it is still, i have to push it for it to start going, and even if it does go, its not a whole lot faster than the 1.6 stock engine (i have the rx7). Do i just send it back or is there a way to fix it?

im not very knowlegeable so bare with me but the same thing would happen with me when i got my 2 3.8 with a pink endbell and it seems to be that the 3.8 i got was a kinna big motor like a zipzap motor size or bensu clone so sumtimes the pinion gear meshes very very very tight so what i did is got a match and wedged it beetween the motor and the part of the chassis on the opposite side of the lil plastic tab that holds the body and the heat sink on and it worked perfect but if it doesnt work srry

he is talking about the tab on the back of the motor. I personally dont think it makes a difference where that tab is.

it probably just makes the motor push to one side more and the gears mesh better that way
